Durst sublimation inks now ECO PASSPORT certified

Durst has announced that their P5 Sublifix sublimation inks are now ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX certified.

This ink certification adds to the sustainable package of the P5 TEX iSUB printer, with breakthrough drying and sublimation features that enable a reduction in energy consumption.

OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT is an independent certification system for chemicals, colourants and auxiliaries used in the textile and leather industry. During a multistep process, each ingredient in the chemical product has been analysed to meet the statutory requirements.

Certified products are safe for human and environmental health, can be used for ecologically responsible textile production and are listed in the OEKO-TEX Buying Guide.

Durst says the certification gives customers an accelerated and cost-optimized certification process of their production chain according to OEKO-TEX STeP and their final products according to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100.

The company says obtaining the ECO PASSPORT certificate for the P5 Sublifix Inks results in an immediate economic advantage for all customers using these inks.
