ONYX 19 to be unveiled at FESPA 2019

Onyx Graphics announced that the ONYX 19 is to be exclusively unveiled at FESPA next week.  Following the successful sneak preview which impressed visitors at ISA Las Vegas, USA last month, visitors to the Onyx Graphics stand (Stand F40 in Hall B5) at FESPA will see the full product which introduces the Spark Engine and DeviceLink+, specially designed to reach new heights on all print applications including soft-signage and textile.

Building upon the award-winning ONYX 18.5 software, Spark Engine is a new performance platform built for massive advances in speed, performance and reliability, while DeviceLink+ is an all-new system of colour management controls to achieve consistent colour across an entire site.

“ONYX 19 is the culmination of 30 years of innovation in the wide-format print industry,” says Kevin Murphy, President and CEO of Onyx Graphics. “With unrivalled speed and performance from the new Spark Engine, coupled with next generation colour management using DeviceLink+, Print Service Providers can reach new heights using ONYX 19.”

The Spark Engine introduces advanced compression algorithms, a threading pipeline and new rendering technology for RIP speed increases up to 200 percent, printer performance increases up to 400 percent and Step and Repeat performance up to 600 percent.

In addition, visitors will get a first-hand view on how to build iccMAX v5 profiles and choose between three new dot patterns for the smoothest output on all wide-format print applications.
